Pictures of Final Fantasy 12:

Just a look at what the Game looks like.  Takuya's involvement in "Final Fantasy 12" was modeling and texturing environments.  Game project started in 2003 then released in 2006.  My favorite game of all time.

Education: Tokyo University of Technology
                   Bachelors Degree in Media Science.

Takuya Suzuki's skill in software:  Maya, Photoshop, UVLayout, Zbrush, Mudbox, BodyPaint3D, Adobe Premier, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Illustrator, MentalRay and RenderMan.

Like most designers, dedication and hard work in learning the programs necessary for his career was achieved through education.  The next step for Takuya was to start at the bottom and work his way up to achieve his goals as a designer.  Accumulating professional recommendations helped his career go further. 11 years and going.
Unfortunately, I was not able to reach Takuya Suzuki to get his words of inspiration for future game designers.  To reach him, I would have to know him personally for his email and there for could not reach him through "LinkedIn" which seemed to be the only way.  However, his recommendation from a fellow colleague said, "He is very supportive to a team, very friendly, and always is willing to share the information with his colleague. He also has a very good personality which influence people around him to create competitive, yet creative environment in the team."
Being friendly and helpful pertains to any careers out there, but success in game design (which is a highly competitive industry) comes with team work within the company.  Learning from one another as students is beneficial and is not only to progress in school, but to also establish connections or recommendations in the future ventures.
